Hortihub
The Hortihub is the latest off shoot from the Bee Hive. It is a dedicated horticultural provision for people with learning disabilities and associated physical difficulties. The Hortihub recognise the need to acquire a range of transferrable skills to promote wellbeing, increase confidence and give a sense of empowerment and belief in ability.
The Goed Van
Since the Hortihub opened to customers back in March 2019, The Goed Life has donated a minibus to the centre to transport the students to The Walled Garden - their offsite Gardening project donated by the Lowther family and to other community gardening projects in the Northamptonshire area.
Gavin the gardener!
Thanks to the money raised from our charity golf day, The Goed Life is funding Gavin to work full time at the Hortihub, teaching the students how to grow and care for plants to then sell them in the Hortihub shop.
